Sunshine

Posted on February 6, 2012 with 0 comments
The sunshine is bright and beautiful today and oh so very welcoming to these days when we're accustomed to ice and snow. I joined a local gym yesterday and look forward to having 24 hour access to it. The main reason of joining is the fact when I want to run on my treadmill its often later in the night. My neighbor wouldn't appreciate it much since I live in a apartment so I decided to join a gym for a while. It will be nice to go to until the days grow longer and warmer to run once again outside!

I'm happy today more than I have been in a long time. :-) I hope to post some new artwork soon!

I'm so thankful today for so many reasons.  This world is such a marvelous place and we have each and everyday to discover, create and find something new.

Marathon Update

I'm officially registered for the Kalamazoo Marathon in Michigan on May 6th.  I'm really excited to start training and hope that I can get a better time than my personal record of 3:35.

Marathon

I'm going to start training for another marathon.  I'm out of shape and the last time I ran on a consistent basis was all last spring/summer and beginning of fall until college started overwhelming me.  I need to do this though in a form of releasing stress.  Running has always been an outlet for me to find peace.  I've ran the Cleveland Marathon two times, Akron Marathon two times, Towpath Marathon one time, Athens Marathon one time, and the Youngstown Ultra Trail Classic 50k (33.1 miles) one time as well.  I'm not sure which marathon I want to run this year but I know it will not be in Ohio.
I know I can fit in time to run no matter if it's just as little as a half hour run.

I'm really enjoying my 2D comp class this semester.  It's giving me so much more of a horizon on the depths of art.
